Exxon Mobil has signed a non-binding agreement to supply lithium from its Arkansas project to South Korean EV battery maker SK On. The agreement could lead to a multi-year deal for up to 100,000 metric tons of lithium. SK On, a unit of SK Innovation, plans to use the lithium for producing EV batteries in the U.S., further strengthening battery supply chains in the country.
