D. Orlando Ledbetter, a Falcons beat writer for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, has been named the 2024 Bill Nunn Jr. Award winner by the Pro Football Writers of America. Ledbetter, known for his extensive coverage of the NFL since the late 1980s, is recognized for his significant contributions to pro football journalism. He is the first journalist primarily from the AJC to receive this award, named after Bill Nunn, who had a notable career with the Steelers. Ledbetter's achievements include coverage of the Falcons, hosting a podcast, legal background, and involvement in sports media education. He will be honored by the Pro Football Hall of Fame later this summer in Canton, Ohio.
