On June 30th, a family of 7 picnicking near a dam in India was swept away by a flash flood caused by heavy rain, resulting in 3 deaths and 2 missing persons. Despite their efforts to hold onto each other for balance, they were unable to resist the strong water flow and were swept downstream. Only 2 members managed to swim back to the shore, with the incident occurring at a tourist spot 80 kilometers from Mumbai. Efforts are ongoing to locate the missing individuals.
