Reported 2 days ago

FedEx has adapted its air fleet in response to the U.S. ending parcel tariff exemptions, which significantly impacted its operations and revenue. The company reported a strong first quarter for 2025, with revenue growing 3% to $22.2 billion, yet faced a $150 million reduction in operating income due to tariff policy changes. FedEx CEO Raj Subramaniam noted a 25% decrease in freighter aircraft from Asia to the U.S. while optimizing its networks and reducing costs to cope with the evolving tariff environment.
