A fire broke out at Hai Pa Wang factory in Kaohsiung at 3:23 am on July 2, 2024. The fire occurred on the 4th floor of the refrigeration factory, with at least 9 fire trucks and 20 personnel dispatched to the scene. Thick smoke and flames were seen, but fortunately, no casualties were reported, and the fire was brought under control by around 5:20 pm. Witnesses mentioned hearing explosions, and all employees escaped to the 1st floor. The factory is part of the Hai Pa Wang Group, known for providing fresh local ingredients and creating Taiwan's largest frozen food logistics park named 'Qianzhen Aquatic Products' by shipping fresh seafood from the Qianzhen Fishing Port in Kaohsiung directly to their restaurants.
