A fire broke out at a tin house in the early hours of the morning in Tongxiao Township, Miaoli County, due to a possible electrical wire ignition, with thick smoke affecting a neighboring 3-story RC building, injuring an 18-year-old girl. The house had a similar incident the previous day involving a washing machine igniting, causing no casualties. The incidents prompted fire department responses to extinguish the fires quickly. The 18-year-old injured woman was hospitalized but is in stable condition.
