On June 23, 2024, heavy rain led to flooding on Yongfeng Road in Tucheng, New Taipei. The water level rose to over half a tire's height. The Central Weather Bureau issued a heavy rain warning for mountainous areas in New Taipei City and Hsinchu County, with rain expected to continue into the night.
