Asia Optical (6139), a clean room construction company, reported a 58 billion revenue in May, a 109.91% year-on-year increase. Despite delays in the progress of major customer UMC's factory in Singapore, Asia Optical stated that the clean room project is mostly completed and will enter the installation phase, aiming to win other projects in Singapore based on this experience. Analysts expect a positive revenue performance in the first half of 2024 due to peak invoicing periods in China and Singapore projects, with progress in Singapore expected to continue this year. The company's performance is anticipated to maintain historical highs for the first half of the year, with overall revenue growth expected for the whole year. In Taiwan, Asia Optical's subsidiary Rung Gong is benefiting from public works projects, especially in the metro sector in Taipei, Taoyuan, and Kaohsiung, creating momentum for operations.
