A 72-year-old homeless man near Taipei Main Station was revealed to have been a former construction industry boss who faced bankruptcy during the 2008 financial crisis. Despite selling off all his properties and paying off external debts, he still owes over 30 million to his mother-in-law and is too ashamed to return home. The man, now working as a homeless care worker, shared his humbling journey and advised against being overly proud as he never imagined his current situation after once owning offices and houses.
