Chen Zhenhao, the former general affairs director of Jihsui Elementary School in Zhonghe District, New Taipei City, is under investigation for allegedly accepting benefits from a vendor, Qiu Xianghao, to help him secure bids for school construction projects in 2019. The Taipei District Prosecutors Office's Special Investigation Division led a search with the Kaohsiung City Investigation Bureau at 8 locations, summoning Chen and Qiu along with 3 others as suspects in violations of anti-corruption laws and bribery. The case involves allegations of bid rigging and bribery in school renovation projects.
