On June 21, 2024, due to the transfer of Taipei Chief Prosecutor Cheng Ming-chien to the Ministry of Justice and the completion of the term of Kaohsiung Chief Prosecutor Fei Ling-ling, the Taipei and Kaohsiung chief prosecutor positions were vacant. Cheng Ming-chien announced the new chief prosecutor changes, appointing Wang Chun-li, the former Director of the Investigation Bureau, as the Taipei Chief Prosecutor, and appointing Chu Chia-chi as the Kaohsiung Chief Prosecutor. The vacancy in the Tainan chief prosecutor position will be filled by the Director of the Administrative Enforcement Agency, Huang Yu-yuan.
