Former NFL player Marvin Upshaw, who had a nine-year career with the Browns, Chiefs, and Cardinals, has passed away at the age of 77. Born and raised in Robstown, Texas, Upshaw played as a defensive end in the NFL after being a first-round draft pick by the Browns in 1968. He passed away in Modesto, California, as confirmed by his family. Upshaw had notable contributions with the Chiefs, starting all 14 games for four consecutive years from 1971 to 1974, before finishing his career with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1976.
