Deputy Director of Taiwan Coast Guard Administration, Xie Qingqin, held a press conference yesterday to explain the situation of Chinese patrol ships in the waters near Kinmen. On average in June, there are four Chinese patrol ships patrolling the waters daily. The Coast Guard Administration and the Ministry of National Defense work together to monitor and handle unidentified targets at sea, ensuring prompt responses if Chinese patrol ships approach Taiwanese waters, following international maritime laws to avoid using force in case of collisions.
