A fire broke out in a six-story residential building in the south district of Tainan City around 11 a.m., with two individuals evacuating on their own at the initial stage. Firefighters assisted two injured individuals and discovered the body of a 69-year-old woman named Chen in the elevator shaft. Despite efforts to locate the woman earlier, she was found dead. The cause of the fire, originating from the fourth floor, remains under investigation. No further casualties were reported.
