A recent scam involves fraudulent text messages claiming to be from Line, informing users of violations and requesting them to log in to Google on a computer to scan a QR code for violation removal. The messages are not from Line Taiwan and aim to steal users' Line account information. Security experts warn recipients to verify the source and URL of any suspicious messages, contact official accounts for confirmation, and avoid clicking on unknown links. If users mistakenly log in, they should immediately log in on a different device, remove unfamiliar device login records, and change passwords to prevent fraud.
