The Central Weather Bureau stated that due to the influence of the front, afternoon thunderstorms should still be expected before Wednesday (19th), with the possibility of heavy rain in parts of Greater Taipei, northeastern areas, and mountainous areas in the north central region. Starting Thursday (20th), the weather will get hotter, with temperatures above 36 degrees Celsius expected over the weekend. A heavy rain advisory has been issued for central Taiwan and Nantou mountainous areas due to strong convective cloud development, with a high probability of local heavy rain, thunderstorms, and strong gusts. From the 21st to the 23rd, due to the strengthening Pacific high-pressure system, temperatures will increase daily. After the 26th, stable weather influenced by the Pacific high-pressure system is predicted. Additionally, there is a warning for strong gusts in Green Island, Orchid Island, and open coastal areas tonight to tomorrow morning.
