On June 16th, 2024, the Central Weather Bureau stated that this week will be hot and humid, with Matsu needing to be cautious of localized heavy rain on Monday and Tuesday due to a frontal system near Matsu. The weather across Taiwan is expected to be mainly cloudy in the first half of the week, transitioning to partly cloudy to sunny in the latter half, with temperatures rising. There will be a chance of brief thunderstorms in certain areas due to the unstable weather. High temperatures of 32 to 35 degrees are expected, with a possibility of temperatures exceeding 36 degrees in the southeast, requiring sun protection and staying hydrated. Special attention is advised for outdoor activities in coastal and open areas. Air quality is rated as good overall, with some areas experiencing accumulation of pollutants due to wind conditions.
