The Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) in Taiwan has received recognition for its performance over the past 20 years and is expected to do more in the future. Experts interviewed by the Economic Daily suggest that in the next 20 years, FSC should focus on internationalization, organizational restructuring, and incorporating flexible supervision practices. Recommendations include promoting mergers to compete internationally, establishing a Financial Innovation Development Bureau, and revising regulations for consumer protection and financial services in line with international standards.
