Fuhua Electronics under Tatung Group, along with several domestic companies, formed a strategic alliance to advance Taiwan's presence in international forest carbon credits. Fuhua has developed a forest in Indonesia's West Seram Island, with an area of 144,000 hectares, and is registered with the largest U.S. carbon credit issuance institution, Verra. The alliance signed a carbon credit cooperation memorandum, and other member companies include Jia Ge Foods, Shuangxi Construction, Sanyang Industries, China Steel, Front Wind Power, and Hwa Seung Electronics. Fuhua focuses on carbon credit development and management, benefiting local communities through forest conservation agreements and promoting local economies, biodiversity, and poverty alleviation.
