A garbage truck crashed into a power pole in Bali, New Taipei City, causing a partial power outage in the area. The incident led to 1497 households in the nearby areas of Xiaxi, Longxing, and Changkeng losing power. The driver, a 47-year-old man surnamed Su, was briefly trapped inside the vehicle and has been taken to the hospital for treatment. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation by authorities.
