GB's Caudery wins the Continental Tour championship in pole vault.

Molly Caudery from Britain won the pole vault title at the World Athletics Continental Tour event in the Czech Republic by clearing 4.84m, the highest women's outdoor vault in 2024 so far. Despite attempting to set a new national record of 4.92m, she emerged victorious with the 2016 Olympic champion Katerina Stefanidi finishing second. In the men's event, Sweden's Armand Duplantis won by clearing 6.00m but narrowly missed breaking the outdoor world record of 6.25m. Other notable finishes included Britain's Lina Nielsen coming in second in the women's 400m hurdles and Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake finishing third in the men's 200m, won by Canada's Andre de Grasse who also claimed the 100m title.
