According to a Vanguard report, only 40% of Americans are likely to maintain their lifestyle in retirement, but younger generations, particularly Gen Z and Millennials, are showing better preparedness than Baby Boomers. This is attributed to increased access to defined contribution plans and improved plan designs, making it easier for younger workers to save for retirement. As a result, many younger employees are automatically enrolled and saving at higher rates, putting them in a stronger position for their future.
