During an interview for British GQ Hype, actor Glen Powell shared that Tom Cruise once pranked him by pretending to lose control of a helicopter while piloting it over London after filming reshoots for Top Gun: Maverick. Powell joked about the situation, wondering if he was going to be the unnamed guy who dies with Cruise in a smoking hole. Powell also discussed his own pilot's license and his role in the movie Maverick, where Cruise convinced him to join the project after initially auditioning for a different role.
