According to the latest International Housing Affordability Report, some cities have extremely high housing prices, making it difficult for potential buyers. Hong Kong tops the list for the most unaffordable city in terms of housing, followed by five cities in the US such as San Jose, Los Angeles, Honolulu, San Francisco, and San Diego. Other unaffordable cities include Sydney and Melbourne in Australia, Vancouver and Toronto in Canada, as well as Auckland in New Zealand. These cities share the common issue of high housing prices compared to median household incomes, making it challenging for the average person to afford a home.
