General Motors (GM) reported a 4% increase in sales in 2024, reaching 2.7 million vehicles, marking its best performance since 2019. The growth was fueled by continued demand for full-size pickups and SUVs, along with a significant jump in electric vehicle sales, which soared 125% for the year. Despite challenges in its China operations and winding down its autonomous Cruise business, GM's inventory levels remain healthy, and it achieved record sales in several key segments.
