Goldman Sachs has appointed Elizabeth Overbay as the chief financial officer of its asset and wealth management division, as confirmed by a recent memo. Overbay, who previously served as CFO of Goldman Sachs Bank USA, will replace Thomas Manetta as the firm strengthens its focus on this key area following a major shift away from consumer banking. Under Overbay's leadership, the bank aims to boost its asset management business, which has reached a record $3.14 trillion in assets under supervision.
