Many individuals are joining live streaming platforms for work, but a broadcaster has come forward to complain about platforms continuously renewing contracts without allowing termination. After switching to another platform, the broadcaster was sued for tens of millions of yuan, with the initial verdict imposing a penalty of over half a million yuan, and the appellate court increasing it to over a million. However, the Ministry of Labor stated that the broadcasters had entered into a 'contractual relationship' which falls outside their jurisdiction, leading to disputes among the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Digital Development, NCC, and the broadcaster seeking help from lawmakers to amend laws.
