The Legislative Yuan voted against a bill proposing a reconsideration of parliamentary powers reform, leading to the Executive Yuan's decision to provide a Constitutional interpretation. Huang Kuo-chang from the People's Party stated that while they respect the Executive Yuan's right to provide interpretation, Prime Minister Su Tseng-chang should publicly accept the resolution made by the Legislative Yuan today. Despite the bill's rejection, the People's Party remains committed to pushing forward various reform bills and exercising its oversight function in the new parliamentary investigation and hearing proceedings.
