According to SET News on June 26, 2024, Democratic Progressive Party legislator Guo Guo-wen accused Wang Gui-feng, former chairman of Taichung Commercial Bank, of emptying the company through extravagant expenses. Guo named Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an and other blue camp politicians who visited Wang's guesthouse, urging them to clarify their relationship with Wang and the purpose of their visits. Chiang responded by stating he attended a dinner meeting invited by Kuomintang legislator Li Te-Wei, emphasizing the need for transparency and respect for legal procedures in such cases.
