Reported 12 months ago

In an exclusive report on July 2, 2024, at 11:46 pm, reporter Zhang Xiangyu announced that the Ministry of Health and Welfare will rename the current 'Priority Seats' to 'Priority Seats', expanding the scope of applicable passengers to include more individuals with actual needs. This initiative aims to further enhance the convenience and humanized service of public transportation. The application scope of 'Priority Seats' will not only be limited to the elderly, pregnant women, disabled individuals, and passengers with children but will also include other passengers with special needs such as temporarily mobility-impaired, ill, or fatigued passengers. The Ministry of Health will promote and explain the policy through various channels before its official implementation and collaborate with public transportation operators to ensure the smooth implementation of the 'Priority Seats' policy. They also encourage citizens to voluntarily offer their seats to passengers in need while using public transportation to maintain a harmonious travel environment.
