Although summer has just begun, various parts of North America are already experiencing extreme heatwaves, with Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Illinois issuing heat alerts. In Greece, five tourists have died from heatstroke due to the scorching weather, while in Mecca, 14 pilgrims have suffered heat-related fatalities. Measures such as water facilities for pilgrims and special ice treats for animals at zoos are being implemented to combat the heat.
