Reported about 1 year ago

In northern China, especially in Turpan, temperatures have soared above 40°C, with Turpan reaching a scorching 75°C recently. The China Meteorological Administration has issued yellow warnings for high temperatures in multiple regions, including Xinjiang, Shaanxi, Hebei, and Henan, cautioning the public about the ongoing heatwave until Sunday. The extreme heat has caused distress among citizens, with reports of a woman finding her balcony pet shrimp turning red and being cooked alive due to the scorching weather. In another incident, a man tested the ground temperature by placing a group of ants from a watermelon on the floor, resulting in the ants curling up and dying in just 5 seconds from the intense heat.
