A grazing site in Jinmen has been illegally occupying national land for 10 years, allowing cattle to roam the streets unchecked and leaving dead cattle unattended. The county government has fined the site 850,000 Taiwan dollars and threatens to confiscate the cattle if they are not relocated. The livestock activities have caused environmental issues, traffic disturbances, and disruptions to residents' daily life. Efforts to resolve the situation have been ongoing for years with little success, leading to ongoing conflicts between the livestock squatters and the authorities.
