A video uploaded by a netizen shows a woman crossing a street in the Lingya District of Kaohsiung on a green light, but numerous motorcyclists fail to yield, cutting in front and behind her, leading to the exclamation of 'Kaohsiung pedestrian hell.' The video prompted discussions online with many criticizing the lack of pedestrian right-of-way. The local police department viewed the footage and found several motorcycles violating traffic regulations, issuing fines and calling on all road users to follow traffic rules to ensure public safety.
