Several individuals are now working on live streaming platforms, but a live streamer has accused a platform of continuously renewing contracts and not allowing cancellations. After moving to another live streaming platform, they were sued for damages amounting to millions of dollars. Despite being fined over a million in the second trial, labor authorities claim it is a contractual relationship issue, and relevant government departments are passing the responsibility. The live streamer had to seek help from legislators in hopes of legal reform to protect the rights of live streamers from unregulated situations and to seek timely assistance.
