Hitachi Group of Japan plans to train 50,000 employees to become 'GenAI professionals' by 2027, utilizing generative AI to develop new services in IT and railway sectors. Hitachi is partnering with tech giants like Google, Microsoft, and NVIDIA to integrate the latest technologies for applying generative AI. The company aims to increase its productivity by deploying AI resources from development to marketing stages, investing approximately $21 billion in generative AI by the 2024 fiscal year to seize growth opportunities and enhance competitiveness in the evolving AI market projected to reach $211 billion globally by 2030.
