Hong Kong singer Denise Ho, who has been oppressed by the Hong Kong government, held an online concert at a bookstore in Hong Kong, which was interrupted twice by the police claiming noise complaints. The police arrived, set up cordons, and recorded Ho and fans' IDs, causing disruptions. Despite the interruptions, Ho continued the concert, encouraging the police to check IDs quickly so they could resume. Ho, known for her pro-democracy activism, was arrested in May 2022 for allegedly violating the National Security Law. Ho's concerts face frequent obstacles, with venues being canceled and online events being hindered.
