A fire broke out in a tunnel in Tsing Yi, Hong Kong on the evening of July 2. A tour bus caught fire halfway through the tunnel, emitting thick black smoke. The driver and a female passenger escaped, with a kind-hearted samaritan offering them a ride to safety. The incident was captured on a car's surveillance camera, showing the smoke-filled tunnel and the rescue. The fire was extinguished by the fire department, suspected to be caused by engine overheating. The tunnel was temporarily restricted to single-lane traffic due to the incident.
