A shocking incident in Hsinchu, Taiwan on June 9, saw a local resident ordering two bowls of beef noodles through a delivery service, only to find a whole cockroach in one of the bowls. The pregnant woman who was supposed to eat the noodles experienced contractions after the discovery. When the complaint was brought to the shop, they shifted blame to the delivery driver. The outraged customer posted photos of the cockroach-infested beef noodles on social media, leading to a public outcry. Although an individual claiming to be the shop owner apologized for the incident and offered explanations, further investigations revealed a previous complaint about finding a spider in the soup two years ago, triggering concerns over food safety and hygiene at the establishment. Community members expressed disbelief and criticism over the shop's irresponsible handling of the situation.
