Afternoons will see strong thunderstorms, especially in northern Taiwan where rainfall may exceed 50 mm. There is a slight chance of a tropical disturbance developing into a tropical depression or mild typhoon near the South China Sea from June 24-25, affecting Taiwan. The weekend forecast shows similar weather with hot temperatures and sporadic showers, particularly in mountainous areas where heavy rainfall may occur. It is advised to carry an umbrella when going out.
