The Central Weather Bureau forecasts continued hot temperatures during the day and afternoon showers for the upcoming week in Taiwan. Today, temperatures reached 39.3 degrees Celsius in Taitung County, with over 53 observation stations recording temperatures exceeding 36 degrees. Heavy rain is expected in some mountainous areas on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. The weather trend for the next week includes mostly cloudy to sunny conditions with temperatures ranging from 33 to 36 degrees in most areas, possibly reaching above 38 degrees in some southeastern regions due to the southwest wind effect.
