How to Prevent Hacker Attacks on Your Phone? NSA: Do This 'One Action' Weekly to be Effective

Reported about 1 year ago

The National Security Agency of the United States has released a 'Smartphone Security Guide' advising users on how to prevent hacker attacks. With smartphones becoming increasingly essential in daily life, they are also attractive targets for cybercriminals. The NSA suggests rebooting your phone at least once a week to lower the risk of hacker attacks, as hackers can exploit zero-click vulnerabilities to infiltrate devices without user interaction. While rebooting may not block all attacks, it can raise the level of difficulty for hackers, along with other tips like avoiding public Wi-Fi, clearing Wi-Fi connection records, disabling Bluetooth and GPS when not in use, avoiding unknown links in messages, setting strong passwords, or using biometric unlocking for device security.
