How Walmart Attracts High-Income Families as Loyal Customers

Reported about 1 year ago

As Walmart faces strong competition from Amazon, concerns arise over the possibility of Amazon surpassing Walmart's revenue in the near future. To counter this, Walmart is targeting high-income consumers, using data analytics to provide a better shopping experience and offering convenient services to appeal to this demographic. Results show that high-income households with annual incomes between $100,000 and $150,000 have become Walmart's second largest consumer group. However, Walmart still needs to actively improve customer experience to maintain its retail leadership position in the face of a prolonged battle with Amazon. Source: Business Weekly
