Chinese actor Hu Ge, famous for his role in the movie 'Blossoms,' is reportedly visiting Taiwan on June 12 to attend a 'Youth Dialogue' event sponsored by the Taiwan Audio-Visual Industry Development Association at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. His last visit to Taiwan was in 2018 for the Golden Horse Awards. According to the media, the main female lead of 'Blossoms,' Tang Yan, was also invited but had work conflicts. The event, originally planned for the Dihua Street area, was moved to the larger Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. The Taiwan-Hu Ge event raised speculation about assistance from Zheng Wenchan, chairman of the Straits Exchange Foundation, but the foundation clarified that they are not involved in mainland artists' visits.
