NVIDIA CEO Huang Renxun revived COMPUTEX by changing the exhibition scene, attracting a surge of 80% more visitors reaching 85,000 and potentially rivaling the Mobile World Congress (MWC). Despite the excitement of AI enthusiasts, analyst Cheng Zhenghua warns of a return to reality, stating that the current bullish market trend may see no immediate improvement, with over-inflation becoming the major downside risk. The transformation of COMPUTEX following the AI trend has brought Taiwanese companies back into the global technology spotlight, with Huang Renxun being the show's main focus. However, Cheng Zhenghua cautions that the excitement must face reality, and even though NVIDIA's GB200 chip may be promising, actual production may not happen until the fourth quarter. Additionally, the focus on AI PCs adopting Copilot+ and four new features currently necessitates a Qualcomm platform, posing a gamble given Arm platform compatibility uncertainties.
