AI startup Humane is closing its wearable pin business and will sell its assets to HP for $116 million due to disappointing reviews and a lack of orders. The sale includes Humane’s Cosmos operating system and technical teams, which will bolster HP’s AI capabilities as it aims to enhance its portfolio amidst a challenging market. The wearable pin, intended as an AI assistant, failed to gain traction with consumers and will cease functioning after February 28.
