According to multiple American media reports, the well-known 70-year-old American chain retail apparel store 'Bob's Stores' recently announced its closure and bankruptcy filing, leading to the closure of all 21 branches with inventory clearance ongoing in the coming weeks. Founded in 1954 in Middletown, Connecticut as Bob's Surplus, the store offered various items including shoes, workwear, sportswear, and group wear. Despite several acquisitions over the years, Bob’s Stores was sold to GoDigital Media Group in 2022. The company's financial situation led to this decision, thanking customers for their support over the past 70 years.
