Illustrator Dongdong was invited to be the special guest for the Uni-President Lions theme day and to design the visual elements of the event. Notably, he found out that his father was also a baseball player during this event. Dongdong's first encounter with baseball was in 2017 when he was invited by the CPBL to create a picture book. Seven years later, he was excited to collaborate with baseball again. He designed the current profile picture of the Uni-President Lions' official fan page, explaining that everyone has unique traits that make them stand out. Dongdong mentioned that his appearance in a public event was rare due to the nature of his work, and this experience of throwing the first pitch alongside his father was particularly special for him.
