India is looking to remove import tariffs on U.S. ethane and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as part of trade negotiations with Washington. This move aims to reduce India's trade surplus and ease tariffs, coinciding with plans to increase imports of U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG). Despite being the second-largest buyer of U.S. ethane after China, analysts suggest that logistical challenges may limit the short-term increase in imports.
