The Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre has introduced a fund worth 5 billion rupees ($58 million) aimed at commercializing early-stage space technologies and diminishing reliance on imports. This initiative, part of India’s strategy to expand its share in the global space market, will provide financial support for startups and small businesses, encouraging them to innovate and meet both domestic and international market demands. The government is also fostering private investment in the space sector through various regulatory approvals and separate venture capital initiatives.
